I just moved to Zürich few months ago. Me and my boyfriend live in Enge next to Selnau station, so quite near (or basically in) the center. I love to go out for a long walks in the nature, forest and big parks - do you have any tips for nice places in Zürich?
Now i only used to go in Brunaupark, but unfortunately there is a shooting range, and my other dog is a bit sensitive for loud noises like that.. I could also use a train or tram to go somewhere further, but nor that i spend half an hour to go somewhere so I can walk
So you are quite close to Uetliberg then? That is a wonderful walk for the dogs and you. Get the S10 from Selnau, its just 12 mins. The planetary walk is lovely and there is a little cafe up there for refreshments.
In Zurich the walk through Tiefenbrunnen is lovely also. Always has a friendly atmosphere. One of my favourite walks.

And also, yes I know Tiefenbrunnen, I just never thought about going there for a walk with the dogs since in the summer it super super full of people But now it could actually really nice!!
If you walk at Brunaupark, then continue along the Sihl, the skate park and the football fields. You can't hear the shooting range at all along there, there are sealed paths and it's almost entirely dog-friendly (except one small area that's "Hundefrei". There's a little kiosk called Ricci's where dog walkers gather for a coffee or a Wurst. :-) You can walk all the way to Adliswil along the river.
