For starters, my wife and I are really enjoying ourselves. We love the day time activeness of Geneva, especially when the weather is as beautiful as it has been this weekend, and the travel opportunities.
We've also discovered some fun bars (mostly after work, midday drink on the weekends or weekend nights). Places such as:
Cotton Pub (Rive)
Riverside (Old Town)
La Clemence (Old Town)
La Taverna (Old Town)
Demi Luna (Old Town)
Clubhouse (Paquis)
Mr. Pickwicks (Paquis)
What we have yet to discover but have not really looked for it yet because it seems as if it doesnt really start until 11pm, is the fun, energetic clubs for dancing and just having a good time with music (preferable non-house, recognizable), where people consistently go to (locals, expats, tourists...doesnt really matter). We live in Old Town and there are two places right near us, but I never see a sole go inside either.
After spending about 8 days in Hong Kong last week, it left me desiring a fun "party" like scene in Geneva.
I know the Swiss dont dance (according to some other thread), and that Lausanne has more of this scene, but is there not one or two places in Geneva?
Thanks for any suggestions.
