No Cablecom phone service

No ability to make landline phone calls. Cablecom number wouldn't even ring (dialing from my mobile). Finally got a person there - who hung up on me when I asked if they could speak English. Dialed back - no ring. Finally, stumbled across a message buried in their website that they have 250,000 landline users without service right now. Thought I'd pass this on in case you're wondering why the phones don't work!

Had the same thing with Sunrise. Lasted a week. I phoned, they hung up.

Again and again I tried. At the end they said I'll be getting a 300 fr.

yeah, mine has been down since lunchtime, I guess - I made calls this morning no problem. Getting a bit annoying at this point that it still isn't working...I put in my mobile number and they will supposedly send me a message when the service is back up and running. But I am not holding my breath!

Not bad. 43 chfs per day of disruption! What are the odds that cablecom will not shell out 1 million chfs

Still off now. This is a serious breakdown.

Last time the CC digital phone went off and I had to call them by my mobile I was credited the digital phone, which is CHF14.50/month (Freephone Swiss), for 6 months...

Just had a txt msg saying it should be back up. Need to restart cable modem.

is it up and running? Mine seems to still be out - although I haven't rebooted the ol' modem - time for the reboot...

Mine was still down this morning, but a reboot fixed it.

The point for me is that I already pay the Cablecom basic fee of CHF25 a month, so when they offered their Digital phone with permanent free calls within Switzerland at CHF14.50 a month and save the Swisscom basic fee of CHF24ish a month, it was a no brainer.

But I concede that you get what you pay for...

Anybody else without cable com phone again? Tried to report the problem but surprise surprise the lines are busy. But did find a post showing the problem has existed since this morning and can register mobile number to be notified when it's fixed. Have been cable on for 5 years no issues till the last weeks ahhhhh I hope this is not going to be a regular problem!
