It’s my favourite.
Oh noooo!
I’ve never tried it.
I was just thinking the name must have some origins in the far East.
A google says it’s the mandarin for doctor.
my condolences. I know it’s tough to lose one’s favorite tea. But there is still hope?
I’m on PGtips (but loose leaves) and I wouldn’t like them go bankrupt.
In fact, I’ll have a cup now.
I’m not a huge tea drinker, but I do find Yorkshire Tea to be the McDaddy out of all the British tea brands… and Tetley the worst.
Not a fan of Yorkshire. Can’t remember when I last had PG Tips or Tetley. Luckily some time ago bought a big bag of Typhoo at Costco (1,100 tea bags) which still has a lot left in it and I also got a box of Typhoo sitting in the cupboard in the UK house so won’t run out in the near future.
Not too bothered by the brand. But the tea-pot has to be warmed, and the milk goes in first, anything else is sacrilege.
absolutely. But the tea must be strong and black. So try to get that a Migros & Co. Yeah, they started to sell Tetley’s at one point but as someone said, Tetley’s is really not worth mentioning.
I have enough Typhoo tea bags for a year and a half.
Maybe I will have to try drying the bags on the balcony after use
Edit: I bought them in a Migros Outlet.
In all that rain we have around here?
Remembering the photos of your house; what should we expect? Teaparty revival somewhere around Neuhausen?
To my surprise I’ve become a bit a tea snob in my later years. Pretty much all tea bags are rubbish. Loose tea really does taste better and only for a 20 to 30% premium. TyPhoo, and quite a lot of ‘Yorkshire’ tea bags were always too bitter for me.
