Non EU - Any success stories for Zurich L to B Permit Conversion (Software Developer)

Hi There!

Are you aware of any recent L to B permit (Closed/Open) conversion for Zurich Canton for a Software Developer position for a Non EU candidate?

My 2nd year of L Permit is about to expire and I have been hearing mixed information about the permit conversion from my colleagues where some are saying that it depends on how strong is the business case created by the employer.

My employer was hesitant but they have agreed to apply for extension due to a business requirements.

Nothing is said about relaxed rules in your link. All what is said that it should be done with less bureaucracy. But in the end, this basic rules still applies:
