Nut free chocolate?

Hi everyone, does anyone know where I can find Swiss chocolate for people allergic to nuts and also made in a nut free environment? I see tons of products in the UK and US but haven't seen them here or just not looking in the right places. Thanks.

I never saw this kind of stuff...

Which Chocolate Shop is you Favorite?

I don't have a nut allergy but I find it very annoying when products are marked with notes such as "May contain nuts" or "Made in a factory where nuts are used".

It seems like saying "Our quality control isn't up to much and there could be anything in this product"

It's actually to protect them from allergic people who could *attack* them in justice for no mention of it.

We should see write " May contain GMO " in the next years....

Whhhaaaat? Is that it? I mean you're going to put yourself through a lot of effort just to get chocolate made in a nut-free environment? They only really put those labels there to cover themselves in case. I've never heard of anyone getting a nut allergy attack from chocolate with no nuts in.

I don't know if there has been a case but I do know that some people can react to very small amounts of peanuts.

I guess that if you are someone in that situation it is not worth taking that very small risk.

I recall that once on TSR they actually tested samples of chocolates from Swiss shops for traces of nuts and other allergens, and the only one that did not have any traces was Migros Selection 100% Cacao. Another one, on which presence of traces was declared but were not found in the test was Lindt Excellence 70%.
