Did a search (on EF) and didn't find anything. Has anyone made cookies with Nutella? I want to make peanut butter cookies for me, but OH prefers Nutella. I thought maybe I could do a split batch of dough? To me, Nutella is far more oily than the regular PB I use and has plenty of sugar already in it...so I am not sure how to modify the recipe to get them to come out right. Can I still use applesauce as a substitute for some of the sugar or will the flavor get way too bizarre? Any tips appreciated!
I did see Google results, but thought I would ask if anyone here had experience working with it, and if they'd substituted applesauce at all. I don't like Nutella (I can't stand hazelnuts, no idea why) so I am going to have to rely on people who know what this *should* taste like to get it right.
Aha. I just made some oatmeal, raisin, coconut cookies and experimented and used maple syrup and applesauce. You'll have to be brave and pioneer your own Nutella cookies- then share your success or failure with the rest of us.
This never works, eating less but you can try... I am still looking for perfect oatmeal cookies recipe. There are so many possibilities. You can add dry fruits, fresh apple, pieces of chocolate too, I just don't see this " eating less of them" happening in my case
Yesterday I saw a friend whose daughter had made out of some left puff pastry some parcels filled with Nutella and strawberries - really nice combination.
