Office/Desk Chair for a tall person

Hello,

My husband is a tall guy, 6 foot 4 and weight in proportion to his height. We have searched everywhere for an appropriately sized office/desk chair, one of the ones with wheels, and we cannot find one that is big enough for him. In most chairs, he looks like he is sitting in a kids chair.

He spends alot of time at the computer, so it's important that his chair is comfortable.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where we can look? In Germany or Switzerland, doesn't matter where.

Is this what you meant ? Vienna is a long way away, but at least you now know that such things exist

Have you tried Lipo Moebel ? My husband is very tall, too and weighs 110 kg and we found a large sized office chair at Lipo near Fribourg. They have 13 shops in Switzerland, check their website for info: http://www.lipo-moebel.com/ .

Pfister ( http://www.pfister.ch/ ) sell office chairs including the Aeron which, whilst expensive, come in small, medium and large ( http://www.aeronchair.co.uk/Aeron_Size_Chart.cfm ) which works for me.

Pfister sells desk which you can adjust the height electronically. I think it is called LIFT.

We have two at home as we can work sitting down or standing up. It is probably around 1000CHF..i think.

I propose Aereon chairs too

The design is amazing!!

And this mesh 'structure' makes it really comfortable, as it adjusts to your body.
