Salvation Army in Nyon does as well, but not surprisingly they are fairly rigid about ensuring appropriate condition of items
We give toys and clothes to relatives, or to charity. What we can, we sell. In the city, there is an organization that then distributes clothes, toys, and food for those who need it.
If you can get to St. Prex there is the association L'escale . They have a shop as well as they do a lot of work supporting "on the ground" work in Eastern Europe with container load shipments of clothing and other.
