It is assumed that OLED will be the next big standard in flat screen TV (before or in parallel with 4K).

OLED is the future for sure, Panasonic said they will not invest any more money in plasma tech and instead, IF they continue in the TV market, OLED will be what they will invest in.
Fust under Jermoli has an OLED Samaung TV on display , the curve screen is not as curved as one might imagine, and with the settings turned up so brightly it completely distracts from the viewing so very hard to tell how it really looks, although magpies might like it, along with all the LCD tv's
