Can some one help me out..Can I wait till tomorrow ? Otherwise Baby is fine..no temperature..I am really worried..don't know what to do now..

Go to a doctor.

Even if your doctor is closed, there should be a phone number for another doctor on the voice mail.

I did just a very quick search into google and found that a few mothers have had the same situation happen to their children. Supposedly it says on the packet that "grüner Stuhlgang" (green stool) is normal. Can you see if that's true?

Hi ! I work at a pediatrician's practice as medical assistant. All stool colors for babies are ok except black or white. Changes in consistence and colors are frequent. If it's just once a day, that he well hydrated (not dry mouth, at least three pees per day), no fever, happy baby : I wouldn't worry and contact per phone your pediatrician tomorrow or even monday. Usually there are specialized nurses to help new mother's, ask around you. But : with babies under 4 months, if you have any doubt, hesitate, don't feel confortable with the situation : call the pediatrician if you can or go to the hospital. All the best

My both kids used to have it now and then. Normally after there was some change to their diet or after immunisations.

However - as your baby is so small - if you feel there is something to worry about - call the doctor. If your doctor is not open today - you can contact Kinder permanence.

Not sure where you live exactly. There are 2 that I've been to.

You can just call them and tell what the problem is. They will advise you what to do. Receptionists in both places speak English.

Also you do not need an appointment.

Hope this helps.

If I remember correctly from my nursing days, green stool in very young babies is normal and called meconium. Nothing to worry about.

Just wait until you introduce solids....
