Omega 3 eggs

Can anyone please tell me where I can get omega 3 eggs in Geneva? Thanks!

Not in the introductions area of the forum.

Have you tried the supermarket, Coop, and asked one of the people working there. Coop have Omega3 eggs.

many thanks. will check out coop.

I am also looking for the place to buy Omega 3/DHA-enriched Eggs as Omega 3 is very important for brain health and to retain the ability to think and reason while aging.

I've been searching through Migros, Coop, and Lidl but so far I can't find Omega 3/DHA-enriched Eggs. Some storekeepers even said that they have not heard any demand for the Omega 3/DHA-enriched Eggs.

Some friends suggested that I can buy it at a Carrefour in neighboring Ferney-Voltaire. Is there any suggestion where I can buy Omega 3/DHA-enriched Eggs within Geneva or Switzerland?

Thanks in advance.

I should eat at least 2 a day in your case

Five eggs per day (with the commensurate cholesterol intake) gives 100% of recommended Omega3 - or four easy to find walnuts.

After a quick google around, it seems Omega 3 is present in eggs because the chickens are fed on flaxseed. Seems flaxseed is standard in animal feed here so you've probably been eating Omega 3 without realising it.

If you really want to buy Omega 3 eggs - go to the shop U (Super U or Hyper U), they are called Bleu-Blanc-Cœur, I buy them once in a while just because they taste good.

U shops around Geneva:

The problem with this is the Omega 3 you really need for brain health is DHA and EPA found only in fish oil. Eggs enriched with Omega 3 are indeed from the plant form of Omega 3 which is ALA. And its also ALA in walnuts. Its good for you but you really need to eat more fish.
