Switzerland celebrates 175 Years Federal Constitution this weekend, July 1st and 2nd.
- Saturday and Sunday, from 9-18, certain federal buildings are open for the public
- location: Bundesgasse, Bern
- visitors aged 16 and older need an offical ID and pass security checks similar to those at an airport
- there’s various entertaining stuff, like crossbow shooting the children (hehe, for them of course), K-9 shows, etc
The fountains are operating, using them to cool down is invited. Remember to bring appropriate wear.
Return train tickets to Berne cost 17.50 with Halbtax.

- Bundeshaus Ost, it houses 4 of the 7 Departments
