We are looking to buy some baby items and after scouring through the forums and checking CH and DE prices (online as well as in CH stores), it seems its best to buy from DE. I read a lot of folks saying they ordered stuff from baby-walz.de to CH. I am confused as the site says they only ship within DE and that for CH, one must use the .ch version.
Can someone help us with the above? Do we have to physically go to the baby walz store in Konstanz and place orders there for delivery to CH? Or is there another way around this?
baby-walz.de ships only the stuff to switzerland they provide on ch.site plus shipping costs. sometimes the de.site has more or different stuff than the ch.side....it's very complicated because CH isn't eu member. maybe the best is to call the konstanz store and ask or you really go there to buy.
hope this helps you. i order a lot from german websites and it's anoying that they have different stuff on tne ch.site.
A friend tried to order from the German site for delivery here and the site wouldn't let her do it. It either changed to the .ch site or told her she had to order through it, I can't remember which.
So basically you either drive across the border or pay the Swiss prices.
I'm not sure about the Swiss stores, but I was at the store in Konstanz earlier this month and the selection in the store is much smaller than what is available on their website. The catalog is available online and may be more reflective of the prices and stock in stores.
Thanks for the reply. I am also referring to the Konstanz shop. I know that the assortment in the store is small compared to the website but wondering if the prices are the same as the web even in the case you have to order something from the physical shop... just in case anybody knows..
