Ouzo in Zurich.

Dear Friends,

I had been to Greece for a couple of vacations. The Islands are beautiful and the people are friendly. One more thing that fascinated me in Greece is the food and drinks. Ouzo is one of those beautiful drinks.

Now, I was looking for the same in Zurich but could not trace any where.

Can somebody help me if you know a store that sell it.

Hey there...

I have tried that too and it is really wonderful. In Zurich, I think that I have once purchased a bottle from a greek shop near Albisriderplatz. If you walk down towards the Letzigrund from Albisriderplatz on the left hand side of the street you may see the shop called "HAUS SHOP".

You may try but I can't promise that you would find it there.

I would surely try out there.

But, does any of the super market chains selling Ouzo in Zurich? I mean they are easier to find throughout the city.

Ouzo - liquid liquorice with a twist. Did you spot the tourist t-shirts which substitute Nokia for Ouzo? "Ouzo: Connecting People"

Ouzo is very similar to the French Pastis or Ricard, isn't it?

I see those in most liquor shelves...

Have you tried Jelmoli, or Globus? They usually have all the "exotic" drinks. Jelmoli even got Midori
