owning car through a Swiss company (AG/SA, GmbH/Sarl, Verein/Association)

Is there any benefit for a company director having the car owned by their company (AG) or a Verein or any other structure?

An insurance told me they charge a higher premium due to the possibility any employee might drive the vehicle (over my dead body). Is there any insurance company that is allowing a company in this situation to limit cover to a specific driver?

Can the company claim a full tax deduction and input VAT on all car-related expenses to the extent they are business related or is there some expectation that mileage is logged and expenses are divvied up pro-rata for private use?

Anyone can drive a company car.

The insurance company does not decide the limits of who can drive it.

The rules vary by Canton so it is hard to answer fully.

Usually, there is a fixed annual deduction for private use and company cars have to have the Government safety test every year.
