Paper crafting

Good evening,

Back in Canada I was quite into scrapbooking and card making and have continued here in Switzerland. My husband and I have thought several times about a shop here, but we are not quite sure if people do that kind of thing here or even know enough about that kind of stuff here to even be interested.

So my question is....are there people here that scrapbook or make cards to even consider opening a shop like that? Also there would be workshops and classes offered? Do you think it would be successful enough or is it just a passing thought? We live in Lavigny in Vaud.

Thanks everyone,

Michelle

There are some people who do offer hand made cards etc if you are on facebook have a look on https://www.facebook.com/groups/116512265163910/

there is a directory of what people already offer here across Switzerland and also the site has a lot of consumers visit if you were to offer classes or sell products so its worth a nosy x

Sounds very interesting!

I am extremely addicted to paper craft shops, not so much into scrapbooks and cards, but being that i study and am into design and i do like a bit of all sorts of crafting and DIY...so you'd have one customer fo sho [plus i intend to get into handcrafted christmas/ny cards for next yr]

and on the useful note: i am not sure how big swiss people are on paper crafting....BUT if it would be a well supplied store you could also maybe try reaching out to design/art universities and schools, not to mention that i haven't seen a good paper craft store anywhere, so you might have a good ground for building a market.

plus people do love workshops, you could also have ones for kids.

would say definitely something to look into
