Party rentals (tables, chairs) in Geneva area?

Hi all,

I know this has been discussed for the Basel and Zurich regions, but has anyone near Lausanne ever rented tables and chairs for a party? This will be my first year away from home for Thanksgiving, and I'm planning to have ~15 people over for dinner the following weekend (if they can all fit!).

Any idea where I'd even start to look? Or suggestions for Google search terms? Nothing I've tried so far seems to lead anywhere.

Places to ask:

- Commune

- Schools

- Landi (may not be applicable to city centre)

All should have trestle tables and benches for their own and local events - which they may or may not hire out to Joe Public.

I'm guessing any of those places would need me to pick the tables/chairs on my own? I don't have a car, so unless they're really close by, it might be a problem, but I could potentially use a carshare.

Anybody knows of a place that would handle delivery, too?

Your nearest Landi is probably your best bet - as you're out a bit in the 'burbs' - as they normally have a van with a man ..... possibly at a price, depending on distance.

Can't guarantee anything, but they're normally quite accommodating - especially if you parlez le lingo.

Might be easier to rent a room with all the equipment and kitchen, etc. Ask your local Church- they may rent you the parish room, or the furniture from such.

Hope I can visit Geneva I heared Its a great place to spend vacation. Well here in our place in New Jersey B & B Tent and Party Rentals is the best choice for party rental and I love how they set up for wedding venue.
