Hi

I have applied for D visa for studying in UNIL LAUSANNE

Iam waiting for my visa for 4 months. The local embassy has asked to get in touch with cantonal authorities through university, which I did. But i have not received any response yet.

Is there any other way i can proceed? Whom should I contact. The migration office number is not reachable. I do not speak french well. My course starts next month so I have to make arrangements.

Hi,

after waiting for the due time, I contact the Indian embassy and then sent contacted the Vaud Canton authorities. I also asked the university to send a query.

After some days of follow up, I received a positive reply from Vaud Canton authorities thankfully.

There will be a form where you can post a query. They will respond to it surely.

To avoid panic, contact them timely. check

Just about every Cantonal Control d’habitants are overwhelmed with permit requests at the moment. The situation in Ukraine and high absentee rates due to Covid are the root of the problems.

And there is no Canton of Lausanne, it’s the Canton de Vaud. I’d hope that potential visitors were better informed. It could make your integration easier.

I'm PhD student at the University of Lausanne. I have applied for a National visa since 2 months. I asked the canton of Vaud and they answered me " they will process my application as soon as possible". I just want to know who faced the same situation and when did you receive the decision?
