Permit B rejection due to lack of advertising role - help!

Hi all,

Got a situation where I am a UK national who has been offered a role in Zug. Contract signed, visa being applied for by the company. However, the canton authorities have rejected my visa due to the role not being advertised and therefore I assume the precedence article was not fulfilled ( https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home…zulassung.html )

Question:

Can the company just go through the process of re-advertising the role in the canton and then, if no one is appropriate, try again with my visa? Or is it one try and then done.
Quite worried about a delay or worst case not getting a permit at all.

Far as I know they can advertise, but if they get suitable Swiss/EU national candidates then they’ll probably have to hire one of them instead since they take precedence. They may also need to advertise it for up to 6 months iirc.
