What kind of formality? Do you mean the confirmation from home country? I'm not fully sure what that confirmation should contain.
As far as I get it with my German skills, it is supposed to be a regular gun license from the home country. And as I said, to get it, I need to be the resident of the aforementioned country.
We don't (yet) - but you're not the first person who asks. As we are really at the start of the club, if you're driven that way, we can always look at what's needed to go that route.
