Permit C non Eu

Hello everyone,

I have been searching in the Forum, i could not find something that describe my situation.

my wife und I decided to divorce. In 4 Months i will be 5 years in Switzerland.

Will i be able to bekomme the Pemit C even we diverced? in case not, when will i be able to apply for C permit after the Divorce?

PS: i did an Ausbildung in Switzerland and work here.

I doubt you’ll be able to apply for a C permit, since when you divorce your employer is going to have to apply for a new permit for you under the non-EU hiring criteria.

Getting a C permit while you’re married means one of the questions would be do you intend to stay married to which the answer is obviously no.

If your employer manages to get a new B permit for you, so long as you meet the requirements under VINTA for early applicants I guess as soon as you can.

Thank you for your Reply, i am collecting the Papers for the VINTA Option, and i have talked with Persnal Büro where i work, and told them how is my Situation. i told them that i would like to apply for the C permit which is based on VINTA. so till now i am having all the papers so far.

Till now i am still Married since ( August 2017 ). But i apply earlier due to my (Einreisedatum in der Schweiz) is am April 2017, that means i can apply for C permit because in April 2022 will be 5 years. i appy 3 months before and that means in the begining of January i have the right to apply i think.

do you think it is possible to apply for C permit inJanuary or do i have to wait untill May because the Marriage date. ̈

It is based on how long you've lived in Switzerland, not how long you were married (unless you apply under family reunification, but you said that's no longer the case).
