I want to get some photos made from my jpegs. Does anyone where there is a such a machine the Zürich HB (walkable) area ? Is it just a case that I put them all on a CD, and they are all printed ?
My husband uploads our Jpegs photo to fotolabo and they print it out and send it to us at home. Quality is good and price is quite reasonable too...all you need is ADSL connection.
It is a case of taking the memory card along and printing them out off that. Migros perform this services by downloading an app, uploading your pics and they mail them back to you. It's very cheap and not bad if you just wants prints.
I have seen machines about, I can't for the life of me remember exactly where. Sorry.
If you want quality prints contact Scott on this forum, although I haven't seen him about for a while.
certainly there will be something in Shopville, perhaps InterDiscount there or even InterDiscountXXL near the Swisscom shop/Hiltl?
Manor on Bahnhofstrasse used to have one of these Kodak self-service machines too. You can either print off the stick (and burn a CD) or print off a CD.

Where the no. 4 trams pulls in at the HB there are 2 or 3 red digital printing machines. just pop your memory card in or a cd and choose what you want done. rought 50 rp per print.
there is another one in central just around the corner (between the dj store and bonnie prince)

Theres one just outside Migros in HB - opposite Chikoree. 50 rp per picture. You can insert your card and get them printed. Good luck!
I've got several hundred to print, so I think I'll try all the options, and see which gives the best results. I more of a snapper than a serious photographer, but its about time the apartment was blessed with some colour. Photos, unlike pictures, don't require drilling in the wall to mount either...

We use the Photocolor service, the prices and services are similar to Fotolabo (-.39 Fr./15cm x 10cm print; both have a -.19 Fr. special offer for the next few days). And the website is in English, too.
Tiger is talking about FotoPro Ganz , they have a self service terminal. I'm a bit surprised that a print is only -.50 Fr., because generally the FotoPro shops are.. professionally oriented. And their offers usually aren't that low, a 10x15 print costs -.85 Fr. when ordered online.
If you have hundreds, don't use the Manor Kodak machines. These things take forever and a day.
Actually the Fotopro shops are rip-off oriented.
Photocolor is good, also Colormailer and Fotomaxx.
There's also a printing machine in Eschenmoser near Stauffacher, but if you have hundreds burn a CD and send it to Photocolor or Colormailer or Fotomaxx.
Now in 2023 what are the photo printing machines available in Zürich (city, Zürich HB with ShopVille and say vicinity Zug etc.)?
To print from USB memory stick or email/Internet.
The last word in this discussion was 2007 so there should have been developments.

I just looked in Zug at Migros (end of the tills, sometimes have printer/copier etc) & in the main post office, but nothing.
They used to be dotted around, but now I need one I can't find one???
Can anyone shed any light on one somewhere in Zurich/Zug?

Just to confirm that the Interdiscount in Zug does have a photo printing machine - from USB & various phone connectors.
