Im going to London and will be staying in Piccadilly Circus. Whats the best place to go for breakfast?
The Wolseley on Piccadilly is a great restaurant that does amazing breakfasts.
You could also try Automat on Dover Street - American brasserie style. Open early during the week, and for brunch at weekends
Just make sure you have plenty of coins - and get there early, because it becomes empty quickly.

Seriously though - recommendations thus far, seem a little up-market, and in keeping with the area. Personally I think you can't beat a traditional "greasy spoon" cafeĢ for breakfast. If you venture a bit into the side streets, off the tourist trail and find one that is busy with workers and locals, you could be in for a real treat for a fraction of the cost. Not for everyday, but a real taste (and atmosphere) of home.
Thats a great suggestion. I am so hungry now
Alternatively, the Fountain Restaurant in Fortnum and Mason on Jermyn Street is also a good place to check out.
Yes very upmarket and crazy prices-i'm looking for something more in the line of Starbucks-just simple breakfast cafe.
OK. I recommend Starbucks...
Head into Soho, there are dozens of small, mostly Italian run places, and most do a great breakfast and a quarter of the price of the hotels. I always used to go into the Carlton Coffee House, on Broadwick street near Lexington St (just about next door to the John Snow pub). Full English or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Their coffee is usually better, and much cheaper, than Starbucks.
That's an expensive area, so hard to find a "Greasy Spoon" anywhere around there. If you walk down to Green Park underground station I seem to remember there is a Starbucks with outside tables on the opposite side of the road to the station entrance.
