I gave them a second chance after the first delay, thinking it could be a one-off, but clearly it wasn't. Not the end of the world, but if you're looking for something quickly, you may want to give this firm a miss.
A quick heads up for those who buy their electronics online. For two separate purchases I've made by Planetmultimedia.ch they have marked the item on their site as "Ab Lager" and "kann sofort versendet werden". In both cases the deliveries are or have been delayed, and when I've queried it with them they've told me they've had to order the item from an external supplier and are waiting on deliveries. Final delivery time for the first item was over a month, for the one that's still pending...well, we'll see. I'd have no issue with this if they didn't mark the product as immediately available on their site.
Seen a couple of other similar comments on other companies. It seems to be common.
Just as common is the fact that they then won't let you cancel "because they've had to specially order" your stuff
Yep, that's also in the small print with these guys.
I've been buying tech online over here for years and to be fair, normally if the company orders the stuff in, there's at least some reference to that on the site (albeit usually well hidden). This is first time I've come across one that explicitly lists goods as being in stock and ready to ship immediately when they're not.
If I could be bothered I'd pursue this with them further, but it's a low cost purchase and really not worth my time. I'm just going to avoid them in the future and thought I'd mention it on here in case it helps anyone else.
Avoid musix.ch for the same reason. I made sure all my 5 items were in stock when I placed the order 3 weeks ago only to be told that 2 of the items have to be ordered from the supplier with no due date known.
My next order will be back with musicstore.de who are generally very good.
I had a similar experience with them, official item delivery time on the site was "2-3 werktage" and in reality the package arrived in 38 days. Never again.

Quick update... a month has been and gone and still no delivery. I followed it up with them two weeks ago and they said it would come "next week". Of course, it didn't.
Followed it up again today, and the answer was (surprise surprise) "next week". Yeah, right.

Mine never arrived and I've given up on it, the low cost of the purchase doesn't justify the time and effort wasted on chasing it. I've given them a suitably shitty review on toppreise.ch and left it at that. Just glad I hadn't ordered a TV or something similarly pricey.
I recently went there to pick up an item. The company seemed to be extremely small (AFAIK only two guys seem to work there) and didn't look like they were very organized. I'm just hoping they'll never have to handle a warranty case for me :-/

this is exactly the wrong attitude in my opinion! you should fight for your right, because you will also fight for future 'victims'.
if you have a proof of your payment, and planet multimedia is not able to proof that they delivered the item, i would go for a compulsory execution. sounds scary, but it's easy.

Thanks, but I'll pick my own battles. Posting on here and adding to their already bad rating on Toppreise is my contribution towards helping future "victims". Pursuing a CHF 40 purchase through legal channels is not worth my time or expense. If you think that's the wrong attitude, frankly I couldn't care less.
