Here's the fixture list:
I sourced my ART Card on fleabay and it cost £87 for ONE YEAR. Unless you're fluent in Arabic, however, there ain't much more for you from the provider!!

Plus you should be able to receive BBC (not the rubbish BBC prime etc) for Match of the Day etc ...
Telelcub is available via Cable or Satelite TV (on subscription)
Or alternately, get it free when those working on the dark side make the keys available
I know my wife isn't
I just go down the White Horse in Montreux. They have sky and so put all the matches on. (If there is more than one match on, it is usually decided by the punters which one they want to see)
Jenny - up in the Mecca, where the streets are paved with gold, there are pubs where they can show 2 or even 3 matches live.
I know. Wow...!
Well, it was that or Hammers - Watford
Mark Viduka
Oh yeah.
Nicky - do you have it yet?
I was thinking of Pat when Forest played on Monday
Looks like ART could be the best option for a footy-mad English lad newly arrived in Switzerland. The question is though, what do I need to set this up? I'm guessing at a satellite dish, ART box and ART card, but how do I get these in Switzerland?
Do you guys have any recommendations for what to get and where to get it?
All's I want is the footy channels, I'm not fussed about the satellite movie channels etc that seem to come in the usual packages in somewhere like teleclub...
Cheers,
Si (Basel)
Nope didn't get one!
Cunningly, ART cards are also Viaccess. Smashing. You get more 3pm kick-offs than you can shake a dog-excrement-covered stick at
Point your dish at 13 degrees east - Hotbird. That's where ART is transmitting from.
Consider also getting a box that can be patched or run emulators - like Dreambox, Technomate. Why? Because with a monoblock getting 13 & 19 east, you can often stumble across channels that mysteriously decrypt if your mate loads the right k*ys, of course This week, Canal+ Spain was open including PPV and p*rn. Super-smashing stuff, so my mate tells me.
Possible problem though - I'm living on the 2nd floor in Basel city, and if I were to point a dish at 13° elevation towards the East, it would point directly at the buildings across the road (which are maybe 4-5 stories high). Do you think this will be a problem? I'm naturally assuming that my landlords won't let me attach a dish to their precious roof.
Cheers, Si
