Private schools Lausanne: Collège de Champittet or Ecole Nouvelle Suisse Romande

Dear all,

I have a 8 year old that I was trying to get into public School in St. Sulpice.

I posted a thread about it before (choice between 4P and 5P).

Since then I have learnt that the school lunches are full and I can only get after school help 3 days a week for an extra hour. I just don't think these schools are designed with full time working mothers in mind

Any ways, my relocation agent has kindly suggested the following private schools:

Collège de Champittet - Pully

Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande

Do you have any feedback about their quality and whether it makes sense to send the child there? He is BTW very talented. Was in the top private school in US and top of his class. He has won chess trophies and loves math.

Thank you all very much.

I do not know the schools, but another option may be a Maman-du-jour? Basically a home childcare where he could eat lunch and go after school?

As said in this thread, afterscool/holiday /Wed. care is indeed not possible or practible most of the time around here. https://www.englishforum.ch/educatio...ml#post3073892

If you are a single working parent you are probably better off going private school route. I know kids who have gone to champittet and it has a good reputation, also has English at an early age so that could be an advantage if you want that. I do not know anything about the other school.
