I have a problem with the refrigerator in my apartment. I have informed the landlord that the ventilator inside is not working. He sent someone to repair it, in the end the man said it is not to be repaired but to be changed. Ok, he changed it and it still didn't work. I asked the man why it wasn't working and he said it only works occasionally .
So in two months I never saw or heard it working.
Is there anyone who has a Bauknecht refrigerator with a fan inside, can you tell me if it works all the time or just once in a while?
At my house I have a Siemens fridge with a fan and that one works as soon as you close the door( so you can test this just by pressing the button the door pushes when closed)

Many internal fridge fans only come on during cooling cycles. When the correct temperature is reached, the fan and cooling turns off.
Built-in hysteresis means the fan doesn't constantly turn on and off.
If the temperature in your fridge is ok then you've got nothing to worry about.
Older/other fridges may have the fan on the whole time.
Food doesn't keep very well in this fridge even if it's set to cool to the max. That's why I'm asking how that fan works. From what you say, I could check if I keep the fridge open for a few minutes while it warms up and it should turn that fan on to start de cooling process, right?
Get a fridge thermometer. Migros sells them.
Where are you coming from? We moved from Japan where most “fresh” foods had a similar had a very similar shelf life to US ones. I’ve found that most veggies and some dairy (particularly cheeses) tend to go off quicker in Switzerland.
My thoughts are that there are less preservatives used here over all. Which is fine by me generally.
I’ve also gotten my wife into the habit of making sure that she’s keeping things drier when putting them away, as moisture is a big enemy to food preservation and she had been handling cheeses with damp hands - which equals mold (Japan isn’t a big dairy country so she didn’t realize). So that’s helped a bit.
Carrots turn blackish very quickly here as well. And the recent heat wave probably isn’t helping anything.
I may be wrong, but the fans in fridges are to ensure that the temperature is evenly distributed and has nothing to do with the actual cooling.
You may have a more fundamental issue if your fridge is not cold enough.

Internal fans help the automatic defrost process too.
If the fan stops working in the fridge, it will not cool. You will not need a thermometer - the temperature will go up to 11-15 celsius, warm or ,rather, not cold enough for you you to discern just by touching stuff in the fridge.
It will it just won't be very even within the fridge. The fan is to circulate the air. Many fridges don't even have a fan.
Only old fridges and the tiny sub-100 litre fridges have no fans, I think. And all frost-free fridges have to have a fan.
And in terms of it not being even, except for the space right next to the coils, it will be a balmy 11+° all over because even without a fan, convection will happen. I just retired a fridge with the exact same problem.
