Professional endeminity insurance for consultant

Hey Forum,

I am going to establish myself as external consultant for one of the big 4's. I was required to contract a professional endeminity insurance. Any thoughts or suggestions on what type of cover I should look for and what are the best providers?

PI. Professional Indemnity (Berufshaftpflicht). I asked for quotes. Went with AXA in the end.

Been a while. Maybe 300/400 a year? You just need to get some quotes.

I went to Aon and got CHF 650K insurance for CHF 1,200 plus 5% stamp duty.

Please let me know how the cost compares.

I wouldn't recommend them/reuse them. My insurance lapsed two months ago and I missed the date and received no reminder. Yes, I know, it's my fault but he also said he would contact me as well.
