Projector advice

Since we moved to Switzerland I've missed watching movies on a large(r) screen and as such I'm thinking again about getting a Projector.

I've got my eyes on the following :

- Optoma HD25-LV ( https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product...ojector-434825 )

- Elite Screens Spectrum Electric120V ( https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product...-screen-327904 )

- Marmitek HDTV Anywhere ( https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product...mitter-3232013 )

Total cost excluding installation : ~2.100 CHF

I need some advice for the installation of the projector and screen :

- are there any companies specialized on this kind of installation? (not feeling very confident about drilling holes on the ceiling)

- do I need to ask the landlord for permission? (I'm expecting circa 8 holes for the entire installation, is there a difference compared to wall holes?)

- Are there any cheaper/simpler alternatives for the (full)HD wireless transmission? Will this interfere with the wireless network?

Thanks!

What do you mean by HD wireless transmission? Wireless to the projector? This is something that Saygus is talking about, but I haven't seen a projector that doesn't need cabling to the data source.

Some projectors have integrated hdmi wireless receivers (eg. https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product...099?pcscpId=11 ) but Optoma doesn't seem to have any models with this... that's why I'm including a Marmitek HDTV Anywhere device.

Did you read the review (admittedly, only one) for that device?

There are other, much more positive reviews on amazon

I bought mine 2 years ago, so don't know the latest models.

But surely the money spent on the wireless module would be better spent on a better projector with built in wifi capabilities? I recall Epson having some.

Edit: just saw that you posted a link to an Epson. So, why not the Epson?

Price wise it doesn't seem to make sense - the other one is actually better... And I case use the HDMI transmitter in the future for other things.
