Pls advise a pub in zurich where spanish supporters are in larger numbers. I am a Barca fan and want to watch the match today outside home. not sure if my favourite english pubs will have many barca fans (more city fans for sure). last time in 2011, I was in Nelson when Barca hammered Man U and I was very close to be hit by an angry fan.

Funnily enough, my local in Fribourg often has a fair mixture of fans from both teams on a Champions League night. Except for Olympiakos though, but then again most neutrals would support "anyone but Man U" including myself .
is that why you advised him to try a social club? perhaps you are a little confloozed?

I normally watch my football/rugby at Paddy Reilly's. I'm sure other bars show CL football games, but I've nver been to them and they almost certainly wouldn't show any rugby.
El lokal is a spainish/latin american pub. Opposite Shil post. Its actually a cool spot. But I am not sure if they have TVs... needless to say worth checking out if you plan to watch a game!
Otherwise I asusme Paddys and Kennedys probably have just as many Barca fans as city, dont forget if your a red your probably gonna support the Spainards
never met any spanish at el lokal, not even the food is spanish, staff is swiss. whats spanish is the name and some decoration. and besides EM or WM they never show (CL) games.
So, you don't know if they have any tvs, but you can go as far as speculating it is a Spanish/latin pub? Just on the name alone? How would you know if Paddy's or Kennedy's have as fans? Especially when Kennedy's is such a new place?

I find it cute coming from a guy who tells me, I have no idea what I am talking about, when I remember you posting a year back that there is zero use for the Spanish language in Zurich as no one speaks it here. And yet you are giving tourist advice on Spanish locals.

Completely separate issues, it's like you literally have no contextual awareness. And yes, you generally have a shaky understanding of what you are talking about on any subject I have seen you discuss besides cooking, furniture or woodwork.

The proof is in the pudding right, so I dare say numerous people watched the game in paddys and kennedys, so was the crowd 50/50? Were there a large amount of Barca fans who found such a new bar as kennedys?
And the post asked for venues to avoid City fans, therefore El Lokal only having the spainish sounding name I would say its safe to assume there were very limited if any City fans in there.
