hi everyone, i have a question about internet connection in zurich.

I have not got much buget for the internet, so i am trying to find a cheap one...I am very interested in the orange ADSL which is 39chf/month.

And for this package, should I also pay the phone bill as 25chf/month too? Does anyone has experience with it? (since i find someone with bad experience with orange home package)

Or if i choose swisscom, should i always pick internet and phone together?

thre's an offer from Swisscom where you dont need to pay line rental (26chf) IF you already have natel subsrbition (= mobile phone contract) for more than 25chf with Swisscom.

Ie instead of: phone line (26) + internet (49chf), you need paying only 49 + your natel thing...

It only works with 5mb internet adsl...

Or if you're in Zurich, Orange Home, 59chf (if you have orange phone) for 30MBS!!!!!

You can order also cablecom connection, it's cheaper - 34 chf for 2 mb channel. Check your address at cablecom.ch

Actually I think he will still have to pay TV as it's Internet via Cable.

I asked in Lausanne with CityCable (the only option here, you can't get Cablecom): You must pay the TV fee if you want the Internet with Cable...

If you are under 26 you can get the internet half price from swisscom.

thank you all the replys....I thought this thread has already been forgoteen, so never opened again these days....

unfortunately, i am above 26... no advance for a lot of services...

yeap, for the cablecom, it is not that cheap if adding the tv fee...

and for the orange or swisscome, in anycase, they ask for 25 bill for the telephone line every moth...

so ....my solution is to share the internet with my neighbour.... it works fine till now....

Why annoying the poor neighboors????

If they don't know about WPA2, etc... why would you bother them with boring technical explanations?

PS: by the way, OP:

there's an "offer" with dsl and swisscom, 5mb/s for 49chf, but if you have NATEL with swisscom, then you dont need to pay the 25.5chf line...

Might be a bit ok??!!!
