Quickline internet, telephony & digital tv provider

Hello everyone,

Does anyone here ever subscribed to Quickline service ( www.quickline.com)?

They claimed that they are better and cheaper than Swisscom.

At the moment the service is limited to certain gemeinde in Bern (including Muri) and Valais.

I wanted to know about personal your experience (or what you guys think) regarding their services (internet, telephone and digital tv) and price. Im thinking to subscribe with this company later. TQ

I can't tell you about cost because we've not received a bill yet, despite having the service for about 2 months. It seems to be a reliable, reasonable product, certainly as good, if not better than what I had in the US (unbundled broadband, cable and landline). Not sure if that says much.

When we checked prices, it did appear that quickline was the best deal - we call a lot to the US. The telephone service is fine - good and clear, no weird echo on the cordless when we're talking to a moblie or to a phone in the US. We have digital TV, but we're borrowing a tiny TV and we just have basic channels. The selection of channels is ok, I guess. I don't watch a lot of TV. The internet is reliable. There are three internet options - we're on the lowest speed, and it's been up all the time and certainly no worse than the cable modem i had in the US. When I connect to the system that I'm working on in the US via VPN, I find it sluggish - considerably more sluggish than when I lived 3 miles away from the system. We're thinking of upgrading once I start to work more regularly.

I'm in Bern, btw - Belp, actually. Hope that's somewhat helpful.
