Hi everybody, yestetday I was drving for the A1 direction France some kms before the tunnels in Geneva. I was drving 120 km/h and didn't pay too mucho attention as it was more or less the same speed of the other drivers. But when I checked the headup display of my car It said I had yo to 50km/h 😰😰. It was one if these fixed radars like towers un the middle of the motorway. Do you know if there is any of them with a 50km/h limitación or It was my car that read a wrong Signal. Btw at that point there was nobidy working on the highway. It seemed everything was ok. Thanks a kit guys i am a bit nervous 😥
Speed limit from the motorway split before airport to border is 100km/h , unless in a construction zone where it could be 80 or 60. Limit is shown on multiple electric signs.
Not 50. Perhaps your GPS was picking up parallel or crossing roads, or maybe an exit.
I believe there are two or three fixed radars on this stretch, depending on direction. During construction there are mobile radars used here. There are also signs saying how many licenses have been collected.
If it's where I think you were, like after the Meyrin exit and before the tunnels it's either 80 or 100 km. The construction zone part is 80 and the rest is usually 100, although due to construction there are many changes these days but no where along there's there 50 from what I last knew (drove there last week). Another section what branches off where there is construction is 60, which is the lowest in the area that I know of, but don't think you were there.
