According to https://www.ch.ch/en/work/unemployme…oyment-benefit you can apply for RAV if you are under 65 (for men).
So you’re still eligible at 64 and X months ? Even if X is just a small number ?
Or is there a ‘danger’ they say ‘you are obviously not able to take on a job with just X months to go before you become ineligible’.
Anyone know what happened to anyone who applied for RAV at 64 ?
I doubt they can deny you your insurance rights. They may just waive that you have to apply for new jobs?
Yes, no problem, and you don't even need to look for jobs in the last 6 months prior to your 65th.

On has to watch out for 2nd pillar - either stay insured in the current pension found our pay contributions to Stiftung Auffangeinrichtung BVG
That's been mentioned in another thread before. Current Pension can stay with the current company after age 63 until one is 65.
It has changed since 2021 with Art. 47a BVG. My command of Amtsdeutsch is not sufficient to authoritatively paraphrase the new law but I think that that age you've mentioned has been lowered to 58 and if a pension found allows, even to 55.
