Tell your landlord he's in direct violation of Swiss civil rights laws which allows residents to be able to receive television programing in their own language.

See: SR 784.40 Art. 66

Satellite dishes can however be banned from buildings that are historically protected or the programs in question are readily available by local providers (i.e. cable TV).

Of course then the landlord is free to give notice.

hi, thanks for the replies..well i dont think so the building i live in is historically protected..and the programs are also not covered by any other channel provider...we have to have dish to get the transmission...we spent alot of money on this dish issue..first we got it fixed a little outside of our balcony, then we were asked to change the location and then we got it fixed on the balcony roof..we got a notice to leave the building instead so we just had to take it off altogether.. i wonder if the building is not historically protected or any such issue like that...then y the landlord has given us the notice???i mean we enjoyed the prvevilige of the dish antennae for some two years and then sddenly the notice????is it normal??

As I understand it, you can be prevented from fixing a dish to the building (or directly to the balcony) but you are able to have a free-standing stand on your balcony.

easiest way .. is to change your house where they allow to keep receiver antenna

Assuming you have a good DSL/Cable connection (at least 2MB), you should be able to get an IPTV receiver that will give you what you're looking for. A little googling about comes up with this company , but I'm sure there are many others.
