I've only in the near past bought my self a Phillips Air Fryer to cook up my several Paleo/Primal meals I consume every day. I commonly can visit the stove and fry pan 3-4 times per day, however, currently, I am turning into a custom to sort of an Air fried well-done meal.
Chicken breast can cook golden brown everywhere with a tender deep-fried style. Pork looks to be a true treat once air deep-fried, roasted/crackle style to that. Good thanks to cooking sweet potato in addition.
20 minutes is that the average preparation time and therefore the device then shuts it's self off.
Being an Switzerland I arrange on making an attempt some game meat in it terribly before long, Alpine ibex to be precise. Are fascinating to check however it tastes.
I have an air fryer, I mostly prep stuff sous vide then finish in a pan, but I've done fried chicken in my air fryer, I also think it makes the best baked potatoes.
This one (from roegner's links) is interesting too. With the right spices this could get very close to what the Lebanese serve amongst the mezze dishes.
Got Tempura King Prawn from Lidl (deLuxe) today. Chucked them into the air-fryier. They turned out nice. The batter got perfectly crispy. And there is a lot - a lot - of batter on them.
Been looking for the prawns .... they were supposed to be 50% and the batter 39% and do we want to know what the other 11% are? Naaa
The German description says "12 Riesengarnelen mit Schwanzsegment". LOL. The "Schwanzsegment" (fin segment) is there, you gotta hold on to them somewhere.
However, if you do find King Prawns in tempura batter: They turn out great in the air-fryer. The vegi version of Lidl I won't go for again though.
