Recommend a payroll services provider?

Has anyone used a payroll services provider in / around Zurich that they can recommend?

Someone that will take care of the mechanics of payroll, quellensteuer, various other deductions / adjustments etc for a small (5-10 employees) office, leaving the team to focus on what they do...?

I know outfits like Mercer do this, but they are far too expensive for a small company.

I dealt with their UK office and they were excellent, not so sure about their Swiss arm but would imagine they'll do the job.

We use them for our very small office. CHF150- per employee per month, plus set up costs and charges for non-regular work. Good service and English skills.

Hi,

I have been contracting in Switzerland for years and from all agencies I used, RM IT was the best.

Salary payments were always on time and they dealt with all sort of requests from my side.

Best thing was, that they were able to find me a contract with another company once my contract was finished as they are also operating as a recruitment agency.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

we use Trianon (trianon.ch). They are not expensive and have reasonable prices. If you just use standard Swiss working contracts and bonus schemes, they can handle that without a problem and English is not an issue either. If you have special expat contracts, complicated incentive programs which need to consider taxes in more than Switzerland, you need to look somewhere else.

Here is my personal experience with 2 Swiss Payrollers in the last 6 years.

I come from Belgium and an agency told me to work with a “compulsory agency” during my first contract. They did the job but the relation was never good, complex and suddenly their back office was moved to India and the service got even worse.

For my second project, I looked myself and found Helvetic-Payroll. They did a very good job in providing me a tailored-made financial simulation so I decided to work with them.

They are 5-6 employees only but they do an extremely good job. Every question/issue was resolved very quickly and efficiently. Contracts are quickly managed online, they have different options like paying you upfront and monthly payslip are available online on their portal which is very practical.

On the top, Alexandra managing the back office is very friendly.

Now I am in Germany so no more Swiss Payroll.

If you look for a Swiss Payroller, call Helvetic-Payroll, nice and very efficient. All what I needed !

The original question is now dated, so I would like to revive the thread. Some of the providers / links mentioned above are no longer active. Does anyone have experience with good, reliable and inexpensive payroll companies for a business with 2-5 employees based in Schwyz? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi 3nns1,

I just got an email saying that you wrote in the same thread reason why I am answering so quickly .

I worked with Helvetic Payroll for around 1 year and was extremely happy. The Sales guy was Mr Yatouji and in the admin I was in contact with a girl called Alexandra.

From the last Newsletter I got, I think they do Consultant Payrolling and Company Payrolling. If you type Helvetic Payroll on Google you will get their contact details !

Good luck

Lars

more or less all payroll companies charge minimum 5 percent of your salary. smaller payroll companies can give you advice on how to save up on taxes and other tricks to save up money. Bigger payroll companies dont normally do that. I am with SDE services and thinking of changing or opening my own company.

Hi all!

Found recently online the following payroll service: http://www.payrollplus.ch/

an am wondering if any one can recommend them?

Thanks!

We use them at the company I work for. Very good.

They have a salary calculator on their website that will show all the deductions.

RMIT is also very good.

Thanks! Am kind of wondering how they can afford their low fee?
