I am seeking a recommendation of a good psychologist / therapist in the Geneva / Vaud (close to Nyon) region. Must be very good/native English speaker, and have experience of treating depression and anxiety. Ideally someone familiar with CBT ( Cognitive behavioral therapy )
No preference regarding gender.
I've found plenty of people listed on doctor.ch and other sites, but of course there is no way to judge their quality. Obviously other people's judgement about someone 'good' will be very subjective, but any experience one way or other would be useful.

I know a psychologist who has a lot of experience dealing with depression. I cant comment on her work since I'm not her patient, but I know her personally; she is buddhist and her studies and practice are influenced by buddhism, which to me is quite interesting.
Are psychologists covered by basic insurance? Or does it have to be a psychiatrist (MD)? If so do you need a referral from a Dr to see a psychologist or can you self-refer (standard insurance assumed).
Only psychiatrists are covered. From my experience, many psychologists work for a psychiatrist's office who receives and delegate patients. Bills and prescriptions are issued by the psychiatrist, and covered by insurance.
