I take private (not group) lessons. Reasons: my company pays for it and also I need to change a lot and hence need private schedule.
I have been with Inlingua for last 6 months and now on level B1 but it simply is not working out for me. I am not convinced that I get the best for the money I pay.
Can people please share with me recommendations for private lessons? I heard Berlitz, Bellingua are good too for private lessons. If not these big schools, I am happy to consider individual highly recommended private tutors too.
I have a fantastic private tutor at Alemania. I am about to start B2 and she is really helping me to prepare for the Goethe test. I started out at Alpha, but was not so impressed. Alemania is much cheaper, and I actually look forward to going to lessons!
The name of the school is irrelevant- an excellent teacher is the key. Personally I think that small group lessons are much more enjoyable and give better results than private. One to one can be daunting, and the exchange/communication with other students is invaluable.
