Me and the Mrs will be travelling from Bristol airport area to Portmerion in Wales. Hoping one or more EFers will something more tan I do about the area and perhaps offer some recommendations.
We are picking up a rental car from Bristol airport on a Sunday morning and driving to Portmerion that day. We are hoping to find a nice restaurant about half way between the two. Two or so hours out of Bristol.
We will be staying in the village and will spend some time exploring that but we will be there for four nights before returning to Bristol. What should we be looking for in the local area?
Of course I have searched the internet but was hoping for some personal suggestions or recommendations.
