Hello all,
Just moved to Basel and so am about to ask a newbie question... how does one go about recycling plastic packaging from things like Ikea furniture or food packaging?
I know that you bring plastic bottles and cans to your local grocery store, and that you can recycle cardboard and paper once a month outside your house, but I am a bit confused as to how you recycle other types or plastic.
Any help would be appreciated as I have lots of packaging sitting in my kitchen from the move!

I always stuff it in the bags. (as does everybody else i know)

I have no clue about Bebbi-sagg bags, in Zürich we call them Züri-sacke, just the normal trash-bags we buy at the supermarket which are allowed to be thrown into the disposal containers.
Most towns of any size have suitable arrangements: you need to look on Basel City/Land website to find the recycling centers.
after visiting Ikea I always go to the recycling park (Lottner AG if you look for it on googlemaps).
if you have a vignete is for free, otherwise, for 5CHF or 10 max you can dispose al plastics etc.
