Red hair in Switzerland?

If you are with a red haired girl , nobody will notice you

Ginger Pubes jokes don't translate into German well...

Well then let's hear them in English

none will ever be able to top this : http://www.xepisodes.com/southpark/e...nger-Kids.html

Yes - lucky for me that I'm right-handed (left-footed though), I've managed to survive, just....

From one ginger to another... At long last, red hair is just as fashionable here this year as elsewhere. You'll fit right in, but you might have to consider colouring it next year.

Not wanting to pry or anything but what shade are we talking about?

Not that long ago. My friend and her brother have red hair and freckles. They had a terrible time in school (bullying, teasing by the other kids, and always felt like the teachers were picking on them).

When they hit their 20s, she was suddenly considered very attractive, but could not understand why after all that trauma the other kids gave her throughout school. He resorted to dying his hair brown...

Now in their early 30s, neither have a problem anymore. Do red hair kids now still have problems? I would say not anymore, simply because these days there are other kids in school that look even more "foreign"...

You've made my day! I am off to Canton Uri via the confectioners ..got to dash to make it back in time for my welsh lesson later

I went out with a red haired guy in Oz for about 10 years. We had GOOD fun! OK, so no Swiss element in this statement but think of yourself as special and have a blast! (Talking Welsh to ducks is sure to be a distinct advantage).

Generally Swiss view this as highly undesirable, as it pollutes the otherwise largely Aryan gene pool. There have been several posters about it, namely the notorious "Bröt ist besser als rot" (translated as: "bread is better than red") campaign. Just be careful.

This may or may not be a serious reply.
