Red Jeans/Trousers

Lately I have noticed a few guys wearing Red jeans or cotton trousers, the youth inside me quite likes them and is contemplating buying a pair.

I have had some outrageous items in my wardrobe in my days, but at the moment I am not sure, so was wandering what is other people's take on a guy wearing one of those Red jeans?

The first time I saw someone wearing a red jeans was the Store manager at a Ralph Lauren shop, an old guy with greying balding hair in a pony tail with a navy blue blazer, and he looked quite trendy .

I wouldnt take them on holiday to Pamplona if I was you

Have a pair of red Boss Orange label from almost 4-5 years ago. Now, faded to light red/pink.

Love 'em & wouldn't trade 'em. Colour is good, blue/black so homogeneous...

Go for it.

As much as I hate them, I do enjoy seeing them worn. Give me an excuse to use my favorite line: "Fawking Hipsters!"

Those have been going on for a while now...

The red is the new black! Soon they'll all have them!

If you keep clothes long enough, they'll always come back into fashion...

Yes if you're Dutch they're the item for you.

Next pet hate white jeans....

They would need to be orange for the Dutch...

just sayin'

Blokes from Milan wear red trousers and hush puppies. Gawd I hate hush puppies

Aye queens day coming up, here's a normal day in Amsterdam.

White pants, no matter the fabric is never flattering on women. It is the worst thing to wear when having cellulitis.

Where is the one wearing red jeans?

Stern, port side.

Guys have been wearing red (and pink and orange) trousers in Fulham for eons, normally accompanied by brown suede loafers (often Gucci).

They will probably be none too pleased that they have now become hot fashions items.

I think it really depends in your style, for instance there is a guy in my office that wears red (and purple) jeans and I honestly though (well not only me but all the girls here) that he was...you know...playing for the other team...

Erm yes that was another thought....

Puny human,

Hulk smash!!!

Hmmm... I think I will go for them. I always like my clothes to be a bit different from the guys sitting next to me in the restaurant. With trousers or jeans its usually a bit diffcult to find somehting other than the usual blue, black grey and khakhis, and the next issue is my size is also not so easy to find always.

The last think I would want is to look... you know as Angela said... from the other side.

Anyone with a differing taste, I woudl recommend Brussels, they have nice clothes there not the usuals like in CH or UK, unless you can fork out stupid money for the top range designer stuff.

I once had bright, parrot green trousers. They were quite some eye catchers !

What kind of build are you? We had a sales rep visit our company a few weeks ago who was pretty short in stature and was wearing red trousers which made him look (in my eyes) a bit odd. I guess he would have suited them better if he had been taller and slimmer.

Then again, I am an occasional white-jeans wearer which, I have just read further up the thread, is a fashion faux pas. So perhaps don't take my advice...
