reddit blackout

This serves as a yet another good warning Reddit’s users and moderators are revolting against its CEO - The Verge

Someone invest the money to make a medium available for the public for free. It’s bad when they start making changes once they build up the community making their business profitable one way or the other, but what really annoys me is that some random guys who had chosen a good channel (subreddit) name now can take down the whole communities.

Expecting anyone will fund your entertainment indefinitely does not seem very realistic to me.

In my point of view, Reddit could be amazing for finding something quickly, but as a community? Bring back the old forums.
