Refunds to UBS credit card

Hi all,

A newbie question regarding my credit card...

I'm due a refund in EUR from a company and they can send it back on the credit card which I paid with.

I've never received payments onto a credit card before. Does anyone know how it works? Does it just clear existing balance / give me a positive balance to spend as I wish?

Usually. It’ll be credited back on to your card so will either be used to reduce anything you currently owe or if you owe nothing it’ll be a credit waiting to be spent.

If the exchange rate goes in the right direction, you might even make a little profit on the deal.
