Removing drawers from furniture

I'm used to the kind of drawers which have wheels on a rail which can be lifted out to remove. I saw this kind in furniture I have that I need to take apart. I've never seen this kind before. Anyone know this and how to remove the drawers?

Hi PhilMCR ( DIY Man )

These could be the type that are fixed with a small screw from the inside. Have a look inside the drawers, for probably 2 screws, one each side, which are lined up with the sliding rails.

If so, then take these out, and then the drawer should slide all the way out.

Good luck.

I have three types of drawer fittings that look like this.

1. as Dragon5 said, small screw inside (Ikea)

2. similar but small screw outside (also Ikea, and Home24)

3. small lug on back of runner so you lever the end out (no idea where from)

All of (3) are now glued in, since it's a useless system that doesn't work, as is one of (1) because I lost the screws

I figured it out. Unfortunately, the rails appear to be designed not to be taken apart. I had to unscrew the drawer from the rail at the front and slide the drawer out of the rail/runner.
