I got a letter from my optician stating that I now can drive without glasses (woooo!)...
That's a matter for the Strassenverkehrsamt. They will have some form for the optician to confirm this if the letter isn't enough.
You'll want to have a copy of the letter in your car for now, the police will rely on the remark 01 in your license.
Surely the licence info needs to be corrected?
Give them a ring? For BL, my optician wrote to the office, I went to an optician and took the test (they had the form). Sent it off with my licence, and got a new shiny one a week later. Without the requirement to wear glasses.
In the meantime, find an old pair of 3d glasses and pop the lenses out.
You joke, but the the clinic that did my laser suggested using a pair of non-prescription lenses until my license is updated...

After a cataract operation I had to get my DL reissued without the glasses restriction. Took the paperwork (old licence and my ophthalmologist's certificate) to the Bureau des Autos in Nyon and the following day had a new DL with a payment slip for 40 CHF.
