Resolutions anyone?

Is anybody making any New Year Resolutions this year? Half of the fun is breaking them but I'm going to try to be more disciplined in 2022, especially with regard to food, drink and trying to stick to some sort of daily routine whilst my OH is WFH.

Everything seemed to fall by the wayside big time for me in 2021

Change one thing. That's doable. If you make 3 resolutions, you'll break all three within a week. Or a day. Or the next 30 seconds.

Nah- been there, done that - just too many times!

I’m going to try to be kinder to myself and others. Emphasis on try.

I am still playing catch-up with my last year resolutions ..

I resolved some 40 years ago, never to make new year’s Resolutions. Still batting 100%

I made a resolution in 1980. I never broke it. I keep remaking it and it keeps going.

Be realistic. Give yourself a code. Try to live up to it. Don’t be too hard on yourself when you can’t follow through perfectly. Start again.

My resolution is to loose just enough weight that my belly doesn't jiggle when I brush my teeth.

Try an electric toothbrush?

My revised resolution is to buy an electric toothbrush and continue eating cake

My resolution is to waste less time on EF.

If your resolution is to get fitter then go get yourself a fitbit or similar... I did and they are a great motivator, really.

I don't agree with the concept of NYR's, because if you need to wait until the beginning of the next year to change something, then you probably aren't too serious about changing it. If you identify something that needs changing then just do it asap, no matter what time of year it is.
