Looks like Viktor Schobinger's texts haven't been mentioned on this site yet - I just discovered them. I am a beginner when it comes to understanding CH-german, and seeing things written down can be really helpful. So, it's about time I read a crime novel set in Zurich! http://www.züritütsch.ch/index.html
I've just found this https://vochabular.ch/en online, with little sound samples in High German and the same again in Swiss German.
Hi everybody,
As a German teacher, I could add the following learning book for the Basel dialect:
Baseldütsch. Das Lehr- und Lernbuch
Authors: Federer, Dominque, Zimmermann, Sandra et al.
ISBN-Nr.: 978-3-7245-2074-0
Actually, this is not really a book. It is a folder with a structured program.
As I have just seen, the folder is not available at the moment. But they are going to publish a new edition. Sooner or later, you will be able to get it here:
I have that folder. It's quite good. It comes with a CD. It might be available via GGG. They run Baseldütsch courses which use it.
Hi NotAllThere,
Thank you very much for adding the hint concerning GGG in Basel. I just add the link here as well: https://www.ggg-basel.ch/ .
Have a great weekend!
Rene
